The main functions of the welding mask include:

The photoelectric welding mask technology is based on light detection technology and liquid crystal technology, and when the internal electro-optical sensing circuit detects the light generated during welding (mainly infrared or ultraviolet), it will trigger the liquid crystal control circuit and apply the corresponding driving signal on the liquid crystal of the mask (transmitted TN liquid crystal) according to the preset light transmittance. In this way, the liquid crystal changes its transmittance as a light valve, filters out the infrared and ultraviolet rays harmful to the human eye generated by welding, and weakens the strong light to the degree that the human eye can withstand.

With the continuous development of technology, welding masks are also constantly being innovated. For example, the appearance of the light-controlled welding mask, which allows the welder to clearly see the welding work before the arc, and then automatically darken at the moment of arc, thereby protecting the worker's eyes. In addition, there are solar light-controlled welding masks, which can automatically adjust the degree of light filtering according to the strength of the ambient light, providing more accurate protection for welders.
