How to determine whether PAPR filter needs cleaning

Observe the flow change: If the air supply volume of PAPR is significantly reduced, it may be that the filter element is blocked by impurities and particles, and it needs to be cleaned.

Check the pressure difference: If the pressure difference between the front and back of the filter increases significantly, it may mean that the filter is saturated and needs to be cleaned or replaced.

Filter color change: If the filter design has a color change indication, when the color changes, it should be cleaned.

Observe the accumulation of impurities: Check the inside of the filter element regularly to see if there is significant accumulation of impurities or particles. If there is a large amount of dirt accumulation, it needs to be cleaned.

Consider the use of time: according to the manufacturer's recommendations or use experience, set a regular cleaning filter cartridge interval. This helps maintain equipment performance and prevents filter clogging.

Evaluate filtration efficiency: If the air quality is found to be declining or the performance of the equipment is not as good as before, it may be that the filter filter efficiency is reduced, and the filter element needs to be cleaned or replaced.

Check for filter damage: If the filter is cracked or damaged, it should be replaced immediately instead of trying to clean it.
