The electric air purification respirator (PAPR) system is mainly composed of the following core components

Main unit (fan/battery unit): It contains an electric fan and rechargeable battery, serving as the power core of the system. It is responsible for drawing in air and pushing it through the filter.

Filter/Filter Canister: Used to adsorb or filter particulate matter, toxic gases or vapors in the air. Depending on the protection requirements, one can choose a HEPA high-efficiency particulate filter, a gas filter canister, or a combined filter.

Headgear/face mask/helmet: A component worn on the head, used to receive clean air and cover the wearer's mouth, nose, eyes, etc., providing breathing and facial protection.

Breathing tube: A flexible tube that connects the main unit and the head cover, used to deliver filtered clean air.
