1. Limitations of use

The filter type self-rescue respirator has a strong pertinence, and the type of protection against toxic and harmful gases depends on the amount and type of agents contained in the filter tank. When the type of toxic or harmful gas is unknown, the concentration is too high or exceeds its protective range, it cannot be used; When the oxygen concentration in the environment is less than 17%, it can not be used.

2. You feel uncomfortable breathing

Positive pressure oxygen respirators and chemical oxygen self-rescue respirators use closed cycles, and the process of absorbing carbon dioxide generates a lot of heat, so breathing feels uncomfortable.

3. High cost of use

The use cost of positive pressure oxygen breathing apparatus is relatively high, because the user must have a certain professional knowledge and operational skills, and need to install absorbent and cooling ice before use.

4. Limited protection time

The working time of air breathing apparatus is generally 30 to 360min, and the maximum protection time limit varies according to the type of breathing apparatus. In general, the protection time of air breathing apparatus is slightly shorter than that of oxygen breathing apparatus.

5. Requires professional knowledge and operational skills

The user of a positive pressure oxygen respirator must possess certain professional knowledge and operational skills, as absorbent and cooling ice need to be installed before use.

6. Possible secondary pollution

No self-cleaning function of the air purifier for a long time will accumulate a large number of impurities, the internal will not only block the mesh, the rapid loss of purification effect, but also cause mold, bacteria, etc., and release pungent odor, causing serious secondary pollution, harmful to health.

7. Purification effect is limited

Only do the surface, do not carry out in-depth technical training, even if the parameters are bravado, the actual purification effect is still very poor, hair, dust, dander and so on are still floating in the air, and the harmful formaldehyde, viruses, can not be effectively removed, a great health hazard.

8. Poor quality and excessive radiation

If the pursuit of value is excessive, material upgrades are not carried out, and materials are selected without the necessary safety checks, the risk of excessive radiation is great. Long-term exposure to high levels of electromagnetic radiation may cause nausea, headaches and other discomfort, but also easily cause sleep disorders.

9. Air purification does not significantly reduce the incidence of respiratory infections

The researchers evaluated 32 observational and experimental studies from 1970 to 2022 and concluded that air purification did not significantly reduce the incidence and severity of respiratory infections.
